Position: Healthcare Security Guard - Part-Time - 525 Montreal

Hours:Week One (Sunday- 07:00-18:00, Wednesday- 15:00-20:00, Thursday- 15:00-20:00) Week Two (Monday- 15:00-20:00, Tuesday- 15:00-20:00, Friday- 14:00-20:00 and Saturday 07:00-18:00)

Payrate: $18.43/hour

Overtime Method:Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a smart, alert, and visible security presence while ensuring the safety of clients, staff, buildings, and assets
• Greet, assist, and direct visitors, providing professional customer service
• Perform assigned security functions, including patrols, incident response, emergency assistance, and event reporting
• Enforce hospital policies, parking and smoking by-laws, and manage access/key control
• Conduct routine tasks such as patient watches, incident investigations, and monthly safety inspections
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, completing additional duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
• Ability to be clean shave for an N95 Mask Fit Test
• Proof of 2 COVID-19 Vaccines
• A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

• Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
• Minimum 6 months of security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare preferred)
• Ability to commit to the role for at least 6 months
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Bilingualism in English/French considered an asset
• Customer service experience (6+ months) considered an asset
• Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
