SAP Application and Material Inventory Support Analyst for a full-time opportunity in Markham, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with SAP experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting inventory, materials, and operational processes.
As an SAP Application and Material Inventory Support Analyst, you will support day-to-day inventory and material activities within SAP, working closely with engineering, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and issue resolution.
- Pay Rate: $32.84/hour
- Location: Markham, ON
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Contract: Temp-to-perm potential

Responsibilities- Create and manage material and panel part numbers in SAP
- Extend part numbers across SAP instances and maintain accurate master data
- Populate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
- Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing teams regarding BOM and material setup
- Support inventory cycle counts and physical inventory processes
- Analyze stock discrepancies and work with teams to resolve root causes
- Monitor inventory levels and movements using SAP reports
- Provide first-line support for SAP inventory and material-related issues
- Investigate and resolve user errors, incorrect postings, and system issues
- Log and track incidents, escalating complex issues when required
- Support and improve standard operating procedures related to inventory and materials
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
- Assist with testing system updates and enhancements related to SAP inventory
- Provide user training and guidance on SAP processes and transactions
- Create and maintain user documentation, guides, and reference materials
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience working with SAP in inventory, warehouse, or production environments
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM Inventory Management (goods movements, stock types, reservations)
- Strong understanding of material master data and inventory processes
- Ability to navigate SAP and interpret system errors and material documents
- Familiarity with SAP inventory reports (stock overview, material documents, etc.)
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy) considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership of tasks and issue resolution
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
- Comfortable working onsite in warehouse or plant environments
- Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada
