Systems Engineer – Network Security

Overview:This role focuses on the administration, optimization, and governance of network security infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on firewall management. The Systems Engineer ensures that security controls are properly implemented, maintained, and aligned with organizational policies.

The position involves close collaboration with network, security, and application teams to maintain a secure, efficient, and compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Check Point).
  • Perform end-to-end network flow analysis using routing and switching knowledge.
  • Manage firewall policies, including creation, modification, and cleanup of rules.
  • Identify and remove outdated, redundant, or unnecessary firewall rules to optimize performance and security.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of firewall configurations to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Use firewall orchestration and automation tools (e.g., Tufin).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, rule changes, and certification processes.
  • Collaborate with network operations, security operations, and application teams to implement changes and resolve issues.
  • Support change management processes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear reporting when required.

Qualifications:Experience:
  • 5–6 years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with firewall technologies.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) and/or Check Point firewalls.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts (routing and switching).
  • Experience with firewall management and orchestration tools (e.g., Tufin).
  • Knowledge of security policy enforcement and compliance practices.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management principles.

Ingénieur Systèmes – Sécurité Réseau

Présentation:Ce poste est axé sur l’administration, l’optimisation et la gouvernance des infrastructures de sécurité réseau, avec un accent particulier sur la gestion des pare-feu. L’ingénieur systèmes veille à ce que les contrôles de sécurité soient correctement implémentés, maintenus et conformes aux politiques de l’organisation.

Le rôle implique une collaboration étroite avec les équipes réseau, sécurité et applicatives afin de garantir un environnement sécurisé, performant et conforme.

Responsabilités principales:
  • Administrer et supporter des solutions de pare-feu (ex. Fortinet, Check Point).
  • Réaliser des analyses de flux réseau de bout en bout (routing et switching).
  • Gérer les règles de pare-feu (création, modification, nettoyage).
  • Identifier et supprimer les règles obsolètes, redondantes ou inutiles afin d’optimiser la sécurité et la performance.
  • Effectuer des audits réguliers des configurations de sécurité pour assurer leur conformité.
  • Utiliser des outils d’orchestration et de gestion des pare-feu (ex. Tufin).
  • Maintenir une documentation complète des configurations, des changements et des processus de certification.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes réseau, sécurité et applicatives pour implémenter les changements et résoudre les incidents.
  • Participer aux processus de gestion des changements en limitant les impacts opérationnels.
  • Assurer une communication claire avec les parties prenantes et produire des rapports si nécessaire.

Profil recherché:Expérience:
  • 5 à 6 ans d’expérience en IT.
  • Minimum 3 ans d’expérience pratique sur les technologies de pare-feu.
Compétences techniques:
  • Expérience solide avec les pare-feu Fortinet (FortiGate) et/ou Check Point.
  • Bonne compréhension des concepts réseau (routage et commutation).
  • Expérience avec des outils de gestion/orchestration des pare-feu (ex. Tufin).
  • Connaissance des politiques de sécurité et des exigences de conformité.
  • Connaissance des processus ITIL et de la gestion des services.
Compétences comportementales:
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation.
  • Capacité à interagir efficacement avec les parties prenantes et à gérer la relation client.
