About the job:
- Integrate health, safety and quality standards, ensuring that all regulatory and internal aspects are taken into account.
- Perform data entry in Excel workbooks as well as in the various systems used to track projects, invoicing and timesheets.
- Work with the Project Assistant, Project Manager, Foremen, Superintendents and the management team to participate in the optimization of site operations.
- Participate in managing the entire process of opening and closing sites, including the preparation of technical, administrative and/or report documents.
- Monitoring and compilation of daily site reports.
- Collaborate to track and control costs and quantities of work - production, materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the site, processes and the integration of new technologies related to it.
- Attend various site meetings and present some data related to the progress of the project.
- Organize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Perform any other related administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the site.
Start/ End Hours- 7/7 rotation, 12 hr shifts.
What you need:
- 2 years of experience in the field of civil or mining engineering construction.
- College diploma in civil engineering – an asset.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both the team and the client on construction sites.
- Good knowledge and skill with computer tools: Office suite, Autocad software and TPL Estimation, the latter being an asset.
- Great versatility, resourcefulness and thirst for learning.
- Be autonomous, responsible and have a good team spirit.
- Be rigorous, methodical and have a concern for a job well done.
