Position Summary
Accuro EMR provides integration options for third‑party vendors and clients to deliver new capabilities on top of the Accuro platform, supported by strong governance to balance growth, security, privacy, and innovation. As the leader of Platform Services & Integrations (PSI), you are responsible for the delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of QHR’s integration services, including the use of native Accuro APIs, FHIR APIs, and HL7 interfaces. This role oversees the full lifecycle of integrations—from partner onboarding to conformance testing, compliance monitoring, and operational support. Leading a small, high‑performing team, you will ensure Accuro’s integrator onboarding and support experiences are monitored and improved to enable scalable, secure integrations that deliver ongoing value to customers and end users.
The Manager provides people leadership, operational accountability, and service ownership for the PSI portfolio, enabling internal teams, partners, and customers to integrate with QHR platforms efficiently and reliably.
The PSI team operates as a service‑delivery organization focused on reliable, efficient, and compliant enablement of integration services. The team prioritizes operational stability and consistent delivery throughput while reducing bespoke integrations, service variance, and operational risk. This role ensures integrations run smoothly at scale, strengthens repeatable processes, and clarifies day‑to‑day ownership for the delivery and support of integration services across the organization. The PSI team also brings a product‑aligned mindset that plays a key part in advocating for interoperability and integrator needs across the QHR portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities
Lead the delivery and ongoing operation of platform integration services, including Accuro APIs, HL7 interfaces, and enterprise integrations.
Ensure integrations are designed and delivered using standardized patterns, tools, and processes.
Balance delivery throughput with operational stability, supportability, and long‑term sustainability.
Reduce reliance on bespoke integrations and informal exception handling by establishing clear service boundaries and standards.
Create and Manage the Conformance Validation process for integrating vendors
Lead a team of specialist roles including Platform Developer Advocates, Integration Specialists, and other roles as deemed necessary.
Create and Maintain Integration Guides
Collaborate in setting SLA, and Terms of Use requirements for integrated vendors
Collaborate in monitoring integrated vendors for compliance to requirements
Communicate changes to integrated vendors and coordinate change management efforts with them
Manage Developer Portal and Content
Collaborate with Architecture and Development to ensure that platform changes support scalability, self-serve, and overall integrator enablement
Collaborate with your management peers to develop leadership and cultural excellence throughout QHR
Create empathy, partnership, and trust between teams and departments
Provide operational insights that support business and pricing strategy development
Provide operational insights and partner feedback to inform the API roadmap, ensuring it reflects supportability, stability, and real‑world integration needs.
Facilitate, prioritize and execute Vendor Risk Management assessments (ISO 27001/SOC2) with adjoining professional teams (Legal, GRC, Privacy, Security)
Transition mature integrations/offerings for general release to our client base
Manage escalations around breaches, data handling, compliance, finance/mgmt. inquisitions in a timely manner
Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ Years related Healthcare Technology experience
Track record of results-oriented success working with enterprise customers and/or partners
Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Positive attitude and enthusiasm towards tackling new challenges and proven ability to learn new technologies quickly
Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and an ability to concisely explain technical issues and complex solutions
Proven ability to to tackle technical problems
Persuasive communicator; is comfortable contacting and facilitating technical relationships with C-level executives
Knowledge of various security & industry standards (REST, SOAP, OAuth2.0 / Open ID Connect, Basic Authentication, Messaging Protocols, PCI, etc.)
Knowledge in Platforms to Operationalize Privacy, Security & Data Governance like OneTrust, Vanta, RSA, etc.
Beneficial:
Understanding of Canadian Privacy Laws (Data handling of PHI/PII, Custodianship)
Strong background in process management and improvement a plus (ITIL)

Compensation and Logistics:
Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level, competitive benefits package
Hiring Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annual
Final pay for this position may depend on candidate knowledge, skills, experience and location
