Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days a week) in our downtown, Nanaimo, BC office

Full time in office for the first 3-6 months

Reports to: General Manager / EOS Integrator

Compensation: $90,000 per year

The Role

Are you a finance leader who thrives on the "Player-Coach" model? REW is looking for a Team Lead who acts as the bridge between high level strategy and daily execution. Your role will be responsible for leading our accounting team by example, providing the guidance and encouragement necessary to build a world class financial operations department. We operate on EOS, and are looking for someone who loves clarity, discipline, and accountability. What You'll Do

• Financial Stewardship: Facilitate the budget, cash flow, and financial statements while identifying ways to increase revenue and reduce costs.
• Operational Excellence: Vendor tracking, customer billing, and compliance while maximizing our financial software stack.
• Strategic Resourcing: Project resourcing and ensuring the IDX process is seamless and well documented.

Who You Are

• A Proven Leader: You have 5+ years of experience in finance with a minimum of 2 years directly managing people.
• Technically Sound: You hold a CPA designation (preferred) and have a deep understanding of GAAP and full cycle accounting.
• Tech-Forward: You are an expert in MS Office/G Suite and can adapt to new software quickly to facilitate collaboration. You are familiar with a Mac environment.
• Analytical & Concise: You can take complex data and summarize it into actionable insights for the leadership team. You take pride in collaboration that helps everyone and the business reach their goals.
• SaaS Experience: Previous experience in a technology or subscription-based business is a major asset.
