Select People Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Property Manager to lead the day-to-day success of a growing rental portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in keeping properties operating smoothly and efficiently.
From tenant relations to maintenance coordination and vacancy management, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

Hours:
• Full time, permanent role
• Must be available for on-call and occasional weekends
Position Summary:
• Collect rent and manage accounts, including tracking payments and following up on arrears
• Market and advertise vacant units; schedule and conduct showings
• Screen applicants and facilitate leasing processes, including lease preparation and renewals
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and document property condition
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and contractor work
• Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for all properties
• Ensure compliance with applicable tenancy laws and regulations
Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple units
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or property management software
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstract and ability to travel between properties
Bonus Points For:
• Certified Property Manager (CPM) Designation
• Experience managing both residential and commercial properties
• Familiarity with local tenancy legislation and regulations
• Background in maintenance coordination or basic property upkeep knowledge
• Experience with marketing rental properties (online listings, social media, etc.)
