Temporary Physiotherapist Role for Multi-Disciplinary Acute Care Team

Support patient recovery as a temporary part-time Physiotherapist. You'll assess patient needs and create effective treatment plans within an acute care setting, requiring adaptability to diverse schedules.

In this role, you'll collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team focused on healthy aging. Responsibilities include patient assessments, documenting care progress, and actively participating in care meetings. Additionally, you'll contribute to program development and educational initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct patient assessments to guide treatment development
• Document all aspects of patient care effectively
• Participate in program evaluation and education activities
• Collaborate in patient care meetings with interdisciplinary teams
• Adapt to weekend schedules and possible campus travel

Requirements :

• Licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• MSc. in Physiotherapy or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years in acute care inpatient rehabilitation
• Experience with the geriatric population essential
• Current CPR certification required
