Administrative Assistant - Wetaskiwin

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team in Wetaskiwin. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting a team, and takes pride in providing outstanding service to clients and visitors. If you have a strong background in administrative support and excellent problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Compensation & Hours:
• The rate of pay will be $18-$20/hr depending on experience
• Full-time, 2-3 weeks long assignment

Position Summary:
• Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner, directing them appropriately
• Manage company AP and AR – processing payments
• Manage inbound customer inquiries (in person, phone, or email) and answer any questions while providing timely and accurate information or directing them to the right staff member
• Prepare and edit documents, and spreadsheets
• Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry to ensure accurate client files
• Maintain accurate records of clients

Required Qualifications:
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, ensuring effective communication with team members, clients, and visitors
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• A proactive team player who can also work independently
• Ability to manage priorities and support multiple team members effectively

Bonus Points:
• Experience in QuickBooks and/or Sage
