As our company continues to grow across Ontario, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to help expand our client base and strengthen relationships in key markets.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing Wessuc’s sales efforts across Ontario. This role focuses on building and supporting a high-performing sales team, establishing clear sales processes, and driving consistent growth across key markets.
The manager’s primary focus will be developing the sales team, monitoring performance, tracking key sales metrics, and ensuring alignment between internal departments (i.e., Sales & Estimating, Operations, and Finance).
This role is well suited to a leader who enjoys building structure, coaching people, and driving measurable results.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to strengthen performance and consistency
- Establish clear sales processes, expectations, and activity standards
- Track and review sales KPIs including pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue targets, and client retention
- Ensure projects are priced accurately to support strong margins and overall profitability.
- Hold regular sales reviews to ensure accountability and progress toward targets
- Support sales team with strategy, key client meetings, and complex opportunities
- Lead the sales team to maintain and grow relationships with existing Wessuc customers
- Work with the estimating team to develop pricing and proposals for projects and service contracts
- Identify upcoming tenders and assist in the preparation of competitive submissions
- Lead the sales team to maintain accurate client activity and pipeline information within the CRM system
- Represent Wessuc at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings when necessary
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
- Work closely with operations, estimating, and finance to ensure alignment between sales commitments and operational capacity
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of sales team members as the department grows

Qualifications
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills, demonstrated through 5 to 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold a team accountable to performance targets
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ontario
Preferred Experience / Assets
- Strong understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, and CRM reporting
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing a team of sales representatives
- Industry experience in construction, infrastructure services, environmental services, municipal services, or related sectors
- Experience responding to tenders or project-based sales
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
