Electrical Engineer 3

The Electrical Engineer 3 will apply advanced knowledge with independence to solve complex technical problems and produce designs. As an Engineer 3, you will develop timely and accurate electric or electronic systems engineering solutions independently or leading others for our internal and external customers.

Position Responsibilities

The ElectricalEngineer/Developer 3is responsible forbut not limited to the following:

• Solvestechnical problemsandthe development of new products
• Producesinnovative design ideasand solutions
• Independentlydeveloptest proceduresand specifications
• Performsand directstesting and producestest reports with recommendations
• Managestime and delivery of concurrent taskswithin scope and budget
• Developsplansand schedulesandmanagespriorities, setsexpectations,and achievesresults for a team of developers
• Consistently producesaccuratedocumentation, descriptions, BOMs, schematics, PCB and CAD designs
• Reviews ofdocumentation andtechnicaldelivery froma team of developers
• Initiatesor leadsspecial projects for Engineering (Research & Development, newcomponentselection, process development, and process improvement)
• Works withpurchasingor production teamtoassistwith design and product selection, including understanding new potential vendor products and how they might fit our systems overall
• Interactwithandidentifynewvendors to find design solutions
• Adherestoandcreates companywideand department specifictechnical andsafety guidelines
• AdvocatesLean manufacturing skills includingmaintaining5-Sworkplace
• Researchand presentsideas forequipment for the mobile equipment industry
• Support production and customer in-field issues

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferablyElectrical,Electronic, or ComputerEngineering or equivalent work experience
• At least5years of work-related experience
• Experience in leading projects with a cross-functional team
• Strong working knowledge of CAD, Schematic/PCBor software development tools
• Design knowledge for EMI and EMC
• Mature troubleshooting and debugging techniques for electrical systems
• Working knowledge of electrical, software, or mechanical systems within mobile equipment
• Experience with Microsoft Office
