Manual Machinist

Position: Manual Machinist
Pay Rate: $22 $28 per hour (No shift premium)
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 1:30 AM (40 hours/week)
Breaks: 30-minute lunch + two 15-minute breaks
Days Off: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (No weekends or overtime)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for the afternoon shift. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience operating manual milling machines, lathes, and drill machines, and must have their own tools and gauges. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality machined parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual milling machines, lathes, and drill presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Set up and adjust machines for accurate production
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools and gauges
• Maintain quality standards and ensure accuracy of finished parts
• Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and safe
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist
• Strong experience with manual milling, lathe, and drill machines
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Must have own tools and measuring gauges
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently on afternoon shift
• Reliable and punctual attendance
