The Role GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our valued client's team at a service rig operation in either Grande Prairie or Slave Lake, Alberta.

This is a full-time permanent position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety, with experience working on or around service rigs.

What You'll Do Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on service rigs and related heavy-duty equipment Inspect mechanical systems to identify issues and ensure optimal performance Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety protocols at all times What You Bring Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent experience Proven experience working on heavy equipment, preferably service rigs Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Commitment to safety and adherence to company and site procedures Preferred Qualifications Highway (CVIP) certification considered an asset Experience in oil and gas or service rig environments Strong communication and teamwork skills Work Environment Field-based work in oil and gas service rig settings Exposure to outdoor conditions and physically demanding tasks Camp accommodations provided in both Grande Prairie and Slave Lake locations What We Offer Competitive hourly wage ($50.00 to $55.00/hr) with overtime opportunities Tool allowance provided Camp accommodations provided at both locations Permanent, stable employment with immediate start available Life insurance: $100,000 employee / $10,000 spouse / $5,000 per child AD&D insurance with critical illness and cancer coverage Extended health care: drugs, hospital, hearing, orthotics, nursing Paramedical services: chiro, physio, massage, mental health (annual coverage) Vision care: glasses, contacts, laser surgery, and exams Dental care: 80% basic ($2,500), 50% major ($2,500), $2,500 ortho for children Travel insurance: up to $5,000,000 per incident (trips up to 90 days) Ongoing training and career development support Apply now at www.grizzlytrekgroup.com Free AI Resume Enhancement Tool Transform your current resume into a polished, professional document in moments.
