Shipping and Receiving Clerk (G license Required)
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory, and maintaining organized
records. This role plays a key part in warehouse operations by verifying, tracking, and coordinating materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
Load and unload materials manually or using equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack)
Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipments
Identify and report damaged or missing items
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
Basic computer skills (inventory systems, MS Excel, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Knowledge of shipping documentation (BOL, packing slips, etc.)
Forklift certification is an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment
May require standing, lifting, and repetitive movements
Flexible to work shifts or overtime as needed
Valid G Driver's License required (for transportation and operational needs)
