Job Description

As a Telehandler Operator, you will be responsible for operating a 14,000lb capacity telehandler to receive and move construction materials efficiently. Your role will include receiving delivered construction materials, staging, and moving them around the site.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 14,000lb capacity telehandler to move construction materials.
• Receive and stage delivered construction materials on the site.
• Move materials around the site safely and efficiently.
• Work with spotters to guide material movement.
• Inspect materials for potential hazards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
• Handle materials such as rebar, scaffolding, interlocking building materials, and masonry.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in construction.
• Experience operating a telehandler.
• CSTS certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Bobcat machinery.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7am to 4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays required every 2-3 weeks. Overtime is available after 9 hours per day or 44 hours per week. You will spend the majority of your day operating a telehandler, collaborating with spotters, and reporting to the foreman.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
