Agropur is seeking a Operations analyst for its Beauceville plant.
This role is ideal for a high‑potential professional with a strong interest in the manufacturing environment and a desire for growth. The position is designed as a stepping‑stone role, offering the opportunity to progressively develop the financial, operational, and analytical skills required to advance into a Plant Controller position within 3 to 4 years.
Reporting to the Director, Management Accounting, the Financial Analyst – Performance Management will actively contribute to the plant’s financial activities while developing a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, production costs, and key performance indicators.

What you will take ownership of on a daily basis:
More specifically, the responsibilities of the Operation analyst include:
Developing data- and fact-based insights to guide and support decision-making aimed at improving productivity and reducing the overall cost of the plant;
Contributing to the preparation of monthly financial reports, cost tracking and analysis, and product cost calculations;
Preparing analysis documents for the monthly financial results of the Beauceville plant (labour, manufacturing overhead, month-end inventory, raw materials);
Participating in the development of plant budgets and standard costs, analyzing variances and making recommendations as needed;
Ensuring the timely production of reports, the accuracy of data, and explaining variances;
Being responsible for month-end journal entries and ensuring their accuracy;
Ensuring the update and compliance of plant performance indicators (weekly/monthly);
Supporting various plant departments with financial requests (economic project analysis, monthly reports);
Assisting the Controller with various mandates;
Participating in continuous improvement projects, with a focus on automation, optimization, and harmonization of the tools used.
The profile that can truly own the role:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, combined with a recognized accounting designation (CPA);
Have a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and/or in cost accounting;
Experience with SAP or another ERP system is considered an asset;
Strong computer skills (Excel, Oracle);
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong autonomy and adaptability.
