What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Schedule- Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)

Location- N3T 5M1

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, fire systems) for suspicious activity or malfunctions.
• Control access to the building and restricted areas; check visitor identification
• Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats, coordinating with emergency services when needed.
• Document events, incidents, and observations in detailed reports.
• Assist with safety procedures, evacuations, and hazard reporting.
• Support investigations and enforce security and safety policies.

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• 1 year of securitygurad expereince
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Reliability clearance required
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
