PVI, PeerView Institute for Medical Education is dedicated to improving clinical competence and
performance—and ultimately patient outcomes and public health—through the provision of
continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities that leverage
innovation in educational design and application of recognized adult learning principles and target those healthcare professionals most in need of the knowledge, skills, and competence imparted by the education. PVI achieves this mission through our expertise in needs assessment and grant writing, educational design, content development, faculty selection, and outcomes assessment for a variety of therapeutic areas and educational formats and design, including e‐learning, video, satellite symposia, grand rounds, small group learning, and print.
Medical Writer, Oncology or General Medicine
Status: Full time
Location: Home office‐based in Canada. Some travel required (~15%)
Primary Objective
Collaborate with internal and external experts to (1) identify existing practice gaps and underlying unmet needs, (2) develop strategic needs assessments that align these practice gaps and unmet needs with innovative solutions to address these needs, and (3) identify opportunities for new business development.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from home and highly motivated to work
independently as well as part of a team in a high‐volume, deadline‐driven and collaborative
environment. While an advanced medical or science degree is preferred, candidates with 2+ years’ experience in the medical education field also will be considered. All candidates must demonstrate knowledge of specific therapeutic areas, experience with grant writing, and significant experience writing and editing clinical content for healthcare professionals.
