We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our site in in Brampton, Ontario. This role is ideal for a highly analytical planner who enjoys turning demand, inventory, and operational data into actionable production plans that keep a complex manufacturing environment running smoothly.
You'll play a critical role ensuring materials, suppliers, and production schedules remain aligned enabling reliable delivery, operational efficiency, and continued business expansion.
Location: Brampton, Canada (on-site)
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week
Salary: Up to CA$100000 per annum
About the Role
As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will coordinate production planning and procurement activities to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain operation.
Working closely with Production, Operations, Quality, Regulatory teams, and external suppliers, you will ensure material availability supports weekly production requirements while driving continuous improvement across planning processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Materials Planning
- Develop and maintain weekly production plans aligned with demand forecasts and operational capacity.
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Support procurement activities, including purchasing of flowers and consumables.
- Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
Supplier Management
- Lead supplier communications and regular supplier meetings.
- Manage purchase orders, delivery timelines, and supplier performance expectations.
- Identify and proactively manage supply risks and material shortages.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report key production planning KPIs
- Analyse planning performance data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Quality, Operations, and Regulatory teams to align planning with compliance and release timelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operations.
- Escalate production constraints and develop mitigation plans to maintain operational continuity.
About You
You are a detail-oriented planner who combines analytical thinking with strong collaboration skills. You thrive in fast-paced operational environments and enjoy solving complex supply and production challenges through data-driven decision-making.
You will bring:
- Analytical and planning prowess with the ability to interpret demand, inventory, and production data.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and supplier coordination abilities.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools.
- Proven problem-solving capability and practical decision-making approach.
- High attention to detail and accountability in planning execution and KPI tracking.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience coordinating suppliers, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.
- Strong experience analysing supply chain performance data.
Although not essential, experience within a regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage, as is a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
If you have APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain certification, even better!
