The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee remote camp operations across Northern Canada, including the Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. Project locations will include the Arctic and High Arctic.

Based out of our Osoyoos, BC office, you will manage multiple active camp projects (80–100+ staff camp sites), ensuring seamless delivery of hospitality, logistics, and infrastructure services in highly dynamic environments.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-pressure, fast-changing conditions and can confidently manage operations, client relationships, and field challenges simultaneously.

  • Oversee full project lifecycle including mobilization, operations, and demobilization

Monitoring & Issue Resolution

  • Review daily reports from Camp Managers and site teams
  • Proactively resolve operational issues (weather delays, equipment failures, supply disruptions)
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage escalations professionally

Financial & Contract Management

  • Forecast and manage project budgets, costs, and variances
  • Handle change orders, scope adjustments, and contract compliance
  • Ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams including:
  • Logistics & travel
  • Health & safety
  • Finance
  • HR & recruitment
  • Catering operations
  • Support camp builds, expansions, and shutdowns

Continuous Improvement & Adaptability

  • Lead operations through complex challenges (weather, labor disruptions, access constraints)
  • Improve processes, tools, and systems for scalability across multiple sites
  • Promote a culture of adaptability, safety, and accountability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within remote camps, mining, oil & gas, or similar industries
  • Strong understanding of camp infrastructure systems (water, power, fuel, waste, logistics)
  • Proven experience managing multiple sites or large-scale operations
  • Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, P&L oversight)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Camp Managers and field teams
  • Technical knowledge (plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems)
  • Experience operating in remote or extreme environments
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and solutions-focused under pressure

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with growth potential
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Opportunity to lead high-impact projects across Western Canada
  • Career advancement within a growing, national organization
