About the Role
The Project Manager is accountable for leading complex, crossfunctional programs and projects, maintaining strong awareness of timelines, dependencies, and organizational impact to prevent conflicts and change saturation.
In addition to delivery accountability, this role is responsible for establishing a pragmatic, easy to use Project Management framework—tightly integrated with Change Management—that enables business leaders to confidently sponsor and execute initiatives. A critical outcome of this role is building sustainable PM capability, including developing Project Coordinators and leaving behind a durable operating model that continues beyond the contract term.
This role will be hybrid but based out of our Surrey BC Office a few days a week.
What to Expect
First 90 days – Foundation & Credibility
- Become familiar with the Family of Companies and the organizational structure within the Transformation Office
- Understand the business operations and applications used across FOC Understand what each of the departments across FOC are responsible for
- Project inventory established
- Initial PM framework defined (intake, governance, core artifacts).
- Project Coordinators assessed; development approach defined.
- Sponsors report increased clarity and confidence.
3 – 6 months: Execution & Enablement
- Multiple initiatives delivering on plan with visible governance.
- PM framework actively used by business leaders (not shelfware).
- Change considerations consistently embedded in delivery plans.
- Project Coordinators independently managing defined components of work.
6 – 12 months: Maturity & Scale
- Improved prioritizing and delivery predictability for reduced initiative collisions.
- Sponsors actively engaging in their roles with clearer expectations.
- Project Coordinators operating with greater autonomy and consistency.
- PM artifacts and practices standardized but adaptable.
12 – 24 months: Sustainability & Transition
- PM and Change framework fully institutionalized.
- Clear ownership for PM practices established post contract.
- Knowledge transfer completed; documentation current and usable.
- Organization demonstrably stronger in planning, sequencing, and delivery
What You'll Do
Enterprise Program & Project Delivery (Primary)
- Lead multiple enterprise level programs and projects from initiation through closeout.
- Establish clear scope, outcomes, milestones, governance, and success criteria for each initiative.
- Manage interdependencies across initiatives, including proactive coordination leadership to avoid conflicts, duplication, and resource strain.
- Provide concise, decision oriented reporting to executive sponsors and steering groups.
- Ensure delivery discipline while adapting approach to the scale, risk, and complexity of each initiative.
- Partner with business sponsors to define clear value hypotheses, success measures, and ROI expectations at project initiation and tracking alongside delivery surfacing variance and risks
PM Framework & Operating Model Design (Foundational)
- Design and implement a lightweight, scalable Project Management framework appropriate for business led initiatives.
- Define clear expectations for sponsors, project managers, and project coordinators (who does what, when).
- Establish standard but flexible artifacts (, intake, charter, RAID, status, decision logs).
- Embed business value, cost, and ROI checkpoints into the Project Management framework (intake, initiation, delivery, and closeout)
- Embed governance that enables decisions rather than slows them.
- Ensure frameworks are usable by non PM leaders and teams
Integration of Project Management & Change Management
- Explicitly connect project delivery practices with change management expectations.
- Partner with change leads (or business sponsors) to sequence initiatives in a way the organization can absorb.
- Help leaders understand that delivery and adoption, and design accordingly.
Capability Building: Project Coordinators & Leaders
- Develop and mentor Project Coordinators, progressively increasing their responsibility and confidence.
- Create learning pathways, tools, and coaching routines to grow internal PM capability.
- Model strong PM behaviors and decision making for emerging talent.
What We're Looking For
- University degree or college diploma in the field of Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or comparable areas
- 5 or more years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
- Certification in project management or equivalent (;PMP)
- Certification in Change Management is desired
- Strong technical background
- Proven experience working in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
- Strong experience with project management in a Predictive and Agile environment
- Microsoft Office Suite and Atlassian tools experience is a definite asset

Compensation At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $XX,000-$XX,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass the comprehensive total rewards package that we proudly offer.
