Your Key Responsibilities -
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Contribute to financial statements preparation
- Analyze variances and provide explanations to management
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters
- Participate in special projects as assigned
What You Bring to the Role -
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally with general ledger responsibilities.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or relevant standards).
- Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Progress toward a CPA designation (or completed)
