about this team

Reporting to the Manager of Product Analytics and Reporting, this position requires strong analytical versatility and expertise. You will interface both with business stakeholders of the product org to understand complex questions and go to the data to answer them. You will also interface with technical teams to assist and advise on design and implementations informed by the data. Outputs will include Power BI reports, written analysis, presentations to stakeholders, and other data products for consumption by both technical and non-technical people.

core responsibilities

• Assist in and recommend the creation and improvement of team processes.
• Serve as a recognized expert in the field, applying specialized skills to address complex team challenges and mentoring other analysts by sharing best practices and optimization strategies.
• Present and communicate deliverables to external teams and larger audiences.
• Act as a technical expert for both new and ongoing initiatives, focusing on projects that introduce new features, reduce technical debt, and optimize existing products or systems.
• Frequently take on a technical leadership role in smaller projects and actively participate in design discussions.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Technology and Analytical Practices, ensuring that project designs adhere to established standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team leads to implement core best practices around security, quality, and reliability, regularly packaging metric trends and making recommendations for critical improvements.
• Contribute to planning and execution for new applications and systems.

qualifications

• A demonstrated ability to perform analysis and communicate results. That can look like a:
• Degree in Data, Math, or other science discipline
• College certificates in Data related field
• Portfolio, blog, vlog, etc.
• 3-5 years' experience in data analytics ideally in a fashion retail environment
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, DAX, Power BI and Excel is required.
• Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
• Extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize
• Self directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
