This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on environments, values teamwork, and understands that credibility is earned through both technical knowledge and execution. You’ll partner with clients across manufacturing, oil & gas, construction, and fabrication to solve operational challenges through advanced welding solutions, equipment, and processes.
Location: Calgary, AB
Pay: $50,000-$60,000

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Business Development & Market Growth
- Drive brand awareness within the Oil and Gas and related industrial sectors, through client engagement and field presence
- Build strong, long-term relationships with shop managers, site supervisors, engineers, and executive leadership
- Identify new business opportunities across the Alberta Industrial sector
- Contribute to strategic growth plans by sharing market intelligence, competitor insights, and field feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed revenue and performance targets
Technical Sales & Customer Support
- Develop expertise in our unique innovative solution which provides an alternative to welding in challenging environments
- Understand materials (carbon steel, stainless, aluminum alloys) and their compatibility with our technology
- Consult with clients to assess current processes, productivity challenges, and quality requirements
- Recommend appropriate solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Provide technical guidance on compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Support implementation, troubleshooting, and post-installation success to ensure customer satisfaction
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Background in Engineering, Sales, Business, Marketing or a related trade is preferred Understanding of mechanical principles is considered a strong asset
2. Business-minded with interest in client management and growth strategy
3. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, value-driven solutions
4. Valid driver’s license with ability to travel up to 60% (shop visits, job sites, client meetings)
5. Comfortable working independently and within a high-performing team
6. Strong work ethic, accountability, and professional integrity
7. Excellent communication skills—able to engage both tradespeople and senior leadership
8. Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven
9. Proficient with basic computer systems and CRM tools
