General Production Worker - Cutter Operator

Job Title: General Production Worker - Cutter OperatorJob Description

Join our team as a Cutter Operator, where you will play a crucial role in the production of delicious granola bars. As a cutter operator, you will work closely with the set-up operator to ensure that granola bars are precisely cut and prepared for packaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines to cut compressed granola bars into pieces.
• Work in two adjacent buildings, occasionally moving outside mid-shift as needed.
• Ensure the efficient operation of the cutting machines and maintain production flow.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 6+ months of experience in machine setup within a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically inclined with machine operating experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in food and beverage manufacturing is desirable.

Work Environment

Our facility specializes in making granola bars containing nuts, so individuals with peanut allergies should be aware. It is a clean environment where all GMP standards must be followed. Although it can get warm during the summer, the temperature is generally controlled. The team operates closely together, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture. The first shift runs from 6:30-7:30 AM to 2:30-3:30 PM.

The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr.
