Job Description
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Deburrer, where you will play a crucial role in our production line. As part of a skilled labor force, you will work with industrial-sized rims used primarily in large mining trucks. Your day-to-day tasks will involve using hand and power tools, grinders, and belt sanders to finish pre-welded and fabricated rims. You will also be trained to visually inspect products for defects and occasionally operate a forklift and overhead crane.
Responsibilities
- Grind and finish pre-welded and fabricated rims using hand and power tools.
- Operate belt sanders, grinders, and other shop tools.
- Perform basic MIG welding as required.
- Conduct visual inspection of products for defects.
- Occasionally use forklift and overhead crane.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year experience in a manufacturing shop.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience with welding, overhead crane, forklift, deburring, and grinding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Welding experience is preferred.
- C-level welding ticket is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a large, open, heavy industrial environment with 26 colleagues on the production floor. The shop, known for its longevity with employees over 20 years, specializes in making rims for the mining industry. The environment is cold and dirty, typical for heavy industrial settings. The day shift runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and candidates must be open to working the PM shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langley, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
