Description

About Anthesis:

Anthesis is the sustainability activator. Proud to be a B Corp, we seek to make a significant contribution to a world which is more resilient and productive. We do this by working with cities, corporates, investors and other organisations to drive sustainable performance. We develop financially driven sustainability strategies, underpinned by technical expertise and delivered by innovative collaborative teams across the world.

At Anthesis Group, we are truly committed to putting people and our planet at the heart of all we do.

Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities

Anthesis is seeking an expert in Supply Chain Sustainability, eager to drive impact for organizations searching for resilient supply chains, actionable strategies to improve supply chain sustainability through responsible sourcing practices, due diligence processes, and supplier engagement. Our global team works with clients across small-medium enterprises to Fortune 500 organizations - from hyperscalers and AI leaders to manufacturers and household name brands - engaging their supply chains to drive meaningful environmental and social transformation.

As a Senior or Principal consultant, you will act as a subject matter expert in the Circularity and Value Chain Transformation Business Line, supporting clients across industries to conduct gap assessments, develop due diligence policies and strategies, map value chains, quantify and mitigate supply chain risks, and design and implement strategic supplier engagement strategies, and much more. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record helping companies develop effective supplier engagement strategies, understand expectations from a customer-supplier perspective, and demonstrated experience with supply chain due diligence requirements – both voluntary (e.g. Sedex, EcoVadis, etc.) and regulatory (e.g. UFLPA, CSDDD, EUDR, etc.). Both consulting and in-house experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred: technology, transportation, retail and consumer goods, healthcare or food and beverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating, designing and deploying strategies for resilient and sustainable supply chains
  • Developing due diligence policies and strategies
  • Conducting value chain mapping and supply chain risk assessments
  • Designing human rights and environmental risk mitigation programs
  • Supporting clients in leading regulatory readiness and gap assessments
  • Developing strategic approaches to supplier engagement as a cornerstone of supply chain decarbonization
  • Develop and execute Scope 3 reduction strategies, focusing on primary data collection and supplier capacity building
  • Project Management - Support the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple client engagements, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and of extremely high quality
  • Client Management - Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, helping them define and achieve ambitious, business-aligned sustainability goals, optimize value through existing and future projects, and build long-term high-impact relationships
  • Business Development - Contribute to business development including proposals, client pitches, and expand existing relationships through helping clients drive their sustainability agenda and identifying opportunities to integrate across service offerings to provide holistic sustainability solutions
  • Communication - Able to deliver clear, thoughtful and compelling communications to client and internal teams alike, translating complex sustainability topics to an array of audiences while maintaining technical rigor and accuracy
  • Mentorship - Provide guidance and technical oversight to junior and senior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning
