Job description
Hours: 30-40 hours per week (some flexibility) Days: Mon-Fri Location: Port Moody (within 10 minutes walk of Moody Centre skytrain station) Wage: $22-25 per hour (negotiable depending on experience/qualifications) About Us: We are seeking a genuinely warm, outgoing nanny for our two fun and energetic children (ages 3 and 4). We value a playful, positive environment where they can enjoy themselves and stay active. We also have a very friendly 9-month-old lab, so comfort with dogs is important. Ideally, candidates will have experience with preschool-aged children, a background in ECE or equivalent, and are capable of managing age-appropriate learning activities. Responsibilities: - Plan age appropriate learning activities on a daily basis - Take children to classes at the local rec center, library, and playground (walking distance) - Make nutritious meals for children and light meal prep - Light household duties (emptying dishwasher, folding children's laundry, keeping children's rooms/playroom tidy) - Demonstrate initiative by actively staying informed about the latest in childcare and early childhood development Requirements: - Must be highly organized and proactive - Excellent communication skills - Must be reliable, patient, and safety conscious - Must be punctual Qualifications: - ECE preferred but not required - CPR and FirstAid - Experience with caring for multiples - Criminal Record Check - Must be able to provide references from previous childcare clients ** - Must be legally entitled to work in Canada** Please visit https://canadiannanny.ca/jobs/mothers-helper-approx-2030-per-week-canadian-nanny-job-vancouver-bc to view full details and to apply.
