Job description

Position Summary


We are seeking Administrative Clerks to support operations within a fast-paced long-term care environment. The successful candidates will provide clerical support, assist with staffing coordination, maintain organized filing systems, and support supply management to ensure smooth daily operations.


Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support including:
  • Doctor’s lists
  • Shower lists
  • Incontinence lists
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned
  • Order and maintain general supplies, including:
  • Incontinence products
  • Wound care products
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems
  • Issue petty cash slips to staff as required
  • Assemble and maintain manuals and documentation
  • Support staffing coordination
  • Record and prepare meeting minutes


Qualifications


  • Experience working in long-term care
  • Experience with staffing coordination
  • Understanding of unionized environments and collective agreements
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Word
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Preferred Skills

  • Healthcare administrative experience
  • Experience supporting nursing teams or clinical operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
