Duties: As Manager, Recruitment, you’ll lead and influence recruitment at scale—shaping how talent is attracted, assessed, and hired across the Manitoba government. You’ll provide leadership to a team of recruitment professionals, set strategic direction for complex and high volume hiring portfolios, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on workforce and talent strategies.
In this role, you’ll champion a modern, data driven, and inclusive recruitment approach—strengthening partnerships with Human Resource Business Partners and Hiring Managers, enhancing candidate and client experiences, and ensuring recruitment practices remain innovative, compliant, and aligned with government priorities. You’ll play a key role in building sustainable talent pipelines, leveraging market insights and best practices, and developing the people, processes, and partnerships that enable strong workforce outcomes today and into the future.

Qualifications:
Essential: - Post-secondary education in human resources; or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience
- Extensive experience managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle and providing recommendations on recruitment-related matters
- Experience with managing and utilizing application tracking systems (ATS), web-based job boards, and alternative recruitment channels
- Experience forecasting, analyzing, tracking, and preparing reports related to recruitment needs and performance within an organization
- Strong leadership skills
- Demonstrated self-efficacy with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively achieve results
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with experience establishing collaborative, client-focused relationships with diverse stakeholders
