Job description
We are a busy, loving family located 10 minutes southwest of Saskatoon on Valley Road looking for a dedicated caregiver to join our team. We value a firm but nurturing approach and are looking for someone who can be a positive, consistent influence on our two children (aged 4 and 2). What We Need • Schedule: Varied to accommodate shift work. Primarily afternoon and early evening hours. • Key Responsibilities: • Pickup from daycare (15 minutes from Saskatoon, 15 minutes to our home). • Preparing the children for evening activities. • Preparing healthy, nutritious meals. • Light housekeeping and laundry assistance. Requirements To ensure the safety and well-being of our children, we require: • Valid driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract. • Current First Aid and CPR certification. • A clean criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. • A reliable, smoke free vehicle that can fit two car seats (provided by us) • Ability to cook basic meals for the children, and sometimes parents. What We Offer • Competitive Pay: Starting at $30/hour (open to negotiation based on experience). • Mileage: We are happy to discuss compensation for travel. • Environment: A supportive, welcoming home environment. • Flexible and planned schedule in advance: one parent has a set shift work schedule and would be able to plan out the month with caregiver in advance • Pet free home: we currently do not have any pets (recently passed), but require someone who would be okay with it in the future Interested?
