Linehaul Driver

Description

We are currently seeking dependable and professional Highway (Linehaul) Drivers to support our LTL operation between Moncton and Saint John. This role is critical to strengthening this lane and ensuring consistent, on-time service for our customers.
As a Highway Driver in the LTL division at Armour, you will be responsible for running scheduled linehaul trips, operating Class 1 equipment safely and efficiently, and representing the company with professionalism at all times. This position is ideal for drivers who value structure, night driving, and steady highway routes.

What You’ll Do

• Operate Class 1 equipment on a scheduled LTL linehaul route between Moncton and Saint John
• Perform back-and-forth highway runs to support overnight freight movement
• Complete required documentation accurately (trip reports, logs, inspections)
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Operate equipment safely while adhering to company policies and safety standards

What You’ll Need to Drive with Armour

• Valid Class 1 (AZ) driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Proven ability to operate highway equipment safely and professionally
• Strong time management and reliability to meet scheduled departures
• Comfort with night driving and winter highway conditions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous highway or linehaul driving experience is considered an asset

• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Shifts: Nights
