Job description
We are a loving family located in Etobicoke, Ontario, seeking a dedicated and nurturing babysitter to care for our 18 month old infant. This position will be part-time, offering a rough schedule of Mon - Fri from 8:30am to 12:30pm, but may require some flexibility as needed (16-20/hrs per week). As a work from home mom, I am looking for someone to provide dedicated childcare in the mornings so I can focus on work and limit distractions. However, I will be present and ready to support if needed. We are looking for someone who is experienced with infants and has a gentle approach to childcare. No meal prep or household tasks necessary. Day to day responsibilities include: -Safety and Supervision: Maintaining a safe, stimulating environment in designated "play zones" away from workspace - Engaging Activities: Indoor screen free playtime activities such as reading, crafts, educational games and outdoor play. Specific schedule includes taking child to children's program such as EarlyOn, libraries or local outdoor parks -Routine Management: Maintain schedule for feeding premade snacks and meals, diapering and putting child to nap -Managing Interruptions: Using strategies to gently redirect child if they seek my attention during work hours or virtual calls Requirements: -It’s essential that the candidate is CPR certified, as the safety and well-being of our child is our top priority. -Preferree candidate can move around locations if required The hourly wage for this role is $20 If you are passionate about working with infants and are interested in this opportunity, please message us.
