Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a CNC Machine Operator, where you will support the CNC Lathe department. This position is initially for a 6-8 week contract, with the possibility of extension. You will be responsible for operating CNC and lathe machines to produce four primary components, ensuring precision and quality at every step.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and lathe machines for production.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper fixturing and monitoring machine operations.
• Perform basic visual and dimensional inspections to ensure part accuracy and quality.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality checks.
• Utilize basic hand tools including wrenches, allen keys, screwdrivers, and air tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to established production processes.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in machine operating CNC Lathe.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and air tools.
• Ability to use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check.

• Good attendance record.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, organized CNC department within a hands-on, fast-paced production floor. The collaborative team setting encourages interaction with machinists, leads, and quality personnel. Expect to stay active throughout your shift, using hand tools, air tools, and basic measuring equipment. The dress code is STWB, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Enjoy flexible breaks with two 15-minute and one 30-minute break.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
