Mechanical/Structural Professional Engineer
Full-time, Permanent, In-Office Role
Salary Range $90,000 120,000/year
Location: East GTA
The company is an industry leader in vertical access equipment in North America.
Thay are seeking to hire an experienced Mechanical/Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the implementation of mechanical and structural systems. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer designation, have a strong background in engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and excel at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Design components and analyze mechanical and structural systems for various projects.
Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Perform or manage stress, load, and structural integrity analyses.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project managers to optimize designs.
Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing and construction teams.
Conduct site inspections and oversee installations to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues as they arise.
Qualifications required:
P.Eng. Designation specializing in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical and/or structural engineering.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
Qualifications required:
P.Eng. Designation specializing in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical and/or structural engineering.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
Interesting Engineering duties for a PEng who is specialized in this field.
