You'll prepare and review detailed estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and compliance with insurer requirements while supporting operational excellence across multiple teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR
As an Estimator, you play a key role in shaping the financial and operational success of each project. You review documentation, validate costs, and develop precise estimates that meet program standards and insurer expectations. Each day, you collaborate with project managers, coordinators, and office teams to identify scope gaps, resolve discrepancies, and enhance overall billing accuracy. You handle revisions, respond to reviewer notes, and provide feedback that strengthens consistency and performance across the estimating team. You mentor junior estimators, share best practices, and stay current on industry standards and pricing updates. Your technical expertise, focus, and communication skills ensure every estimate tells a complete story that is accurate, defensible, and aligned with company goals for quality and profitability.
