Job description

We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship, it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Project Management and Reporting

Location: Vancouver, BC

Anticipated Start Date: September 2026

Contract Duration: 8 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week

Note: Please advise up front if planning to take a course on top of the internship; must be available for 40 hours within standard business hours

Are you looking to build real project management experience and make an impact on a global engineering community of 50,000+ people? Join the Strategic Programs & Events team as our next Project Management & Reporting Intern.

Our team plans and delivers some of SAP’s largest internal events—supporting the rollout and cascade of product strategy and employee engagement across more than 40 locations worldwide, including Germany, China, India, France, Brazil, the U.S., and Canada.

You’ll love this internship if you enjoy:

  • Working with a supportive team that values learning, collaboration, and curiosity
  • Getting hands‑on experience across multiple project and event workstreams
  • Putting your technical skills in data analysis, dashboards, and reporting to concrete use
  • Exploring ideas to improve processes through automation, AI, and templates
  • Coordinating and documenting key activities that directly shape large internal events
  • Learning how cross‑functional teams come together to deliver high‑impact experiences
  • Sharing your perspectives and ideas with colleagues

What You’ll Bring

A curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and the resilience to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness that support inclusive teamwork and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. A growing foundation in business acumen and emerging technologies — especially artificial intelligence — paired with a results-oriented approach and the courage to take initiative.

Educational requirements: Student currently enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year at an accredited university studying in the areas of Computer Science, Science, Mathematics, Economics, or Commerce/Business Administration.

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Are highly organized, and reliably follow through on commitments
  • Can dynamically reprioritize tasks when the need arises
  • Have a technical mindset and enjoy improving workflows with automation, AI, or smarter processes
  • Are comfortable working independently; are not shy about proactively asking questions or seeking answers for yourself
  • Enjoy turning data into insights using Excel and Power BI
  • Feel confident presenting or facilitating discussions with groups, or want to get more experience
  • Have some project management experience (coursework, clubs, co‑ops) or a strong interest in growing these skills
  • Are curious, creative, and always thinking about better ways of doing things

A cover letter isn’t required, but it will help us understand your goals, interests, and how you approach your work—we’d love to read it if you choose to include one.

Where You Belong

Our team is primarily based in Canada and Germany, with colleagues contributing from several other countries. This creates a culturally rich and globally connected environment—perfect if you enjoy learning from different perspectives. We’re a relaxed, friendly group that collaborates closely and supports one another as we work toward shared goals.

Be part of SAP Next Gen, a global community for students, universities, schools and educational partners, who are passionate about innovation and technology.

  1. Culture of Collaboration: Partner with experienced SAP colleagues and expert mentors who will support your growth. Grow professionally through personalized mentoring, coaching, and career development support.
  2. Project-driven Experience: Kickstart your career with hands-on learning experience, making an impact from day one by contributing to meaningful projects that help the world run better. You’ll have endless learning resources at your fingertips and gain future-ready skills from a variety of virtual, in-person, and hybrid learning sessions, cultivated just for you, and aligned with our learning approach.
  3. Gain Visibility: Build relationships with leaders and peers across teams and functions. Showcase your ideas, skills, and creativity in a global, fast-paced environment. Open doors for future career opportunities within SAP and beyond.
