As a global leader in talent solutions, our expert recruiters are excited to help you take the next step in your career. We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive Branch Manager to lead a collaborative team in Markham, Ontario. In this fast-paced environment, you will drive business administration success, formulate robust sales strategies, and ensure absolute compliance with customer service standards.

Working as a Branch Manager means you are the cornerstone of the branch's success. Your strong background in the electrical distribution industry will empower you to mentor a diverse team, manage inventory efficiently, and oversee both inside and counter sales operations. By championing a culture of continuous learning and accountability, you will optimize workflow, drive profit objectives, and ensure your branch remains highly competitive.

Advantages
• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.
• Lucrative 25% performance bonus with the potential to increase if sales strategies and targets exceed 130%.
• Comprehensive benefits package offering customizable health options and dental coverage.
• Company pension plan offered after one year of employment, along with access to RRSP options.
• Generous paid time off featuring 15 days (3 weeks) of vacation per calendar year.
• Exciting internal branch incentives, promotions, and team rewards (including event tickets and branded merchandise).
• Consistent daytime, in-office schedule (Monday to Friday) with flexible shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
• Opportunity to lead a dynamic team and grow your career in business administration and electrical distribution.

Responsibilities
• Develop and recommend comprehensive sales strategies and marketing objectives, including accurate sales volume and profit forecasts for the district.
• Maintain and aggressively develop sales and profit objectives with assigned key accounts within the electrical distribution sector.
• Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take appropriate action to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure workflow for all areas, including counter sales and inside sales functions, is adequately staffed.
• Hire, train, and mentor branch personnel in accordance with company standards, fostering a culture of business administration excellence.
• Promote and actively maintain a positive, collaborative, and fast-paced work climate within the branch.
• Ensure proper implementation and application of company policies and procedures, specifically regarding inventory control, delivery, billing, collections, and security.
• Keep meticulous track of products to determine causes for discrepancies between inventory counts and stock control records, and recommend remedial action.
• Step up to assist the team in various branch duties, demonstrating a hands-on and accountable leadership approach.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience specifically within the electrical distribution industry.
• At least 2 to 3 years of direct management or supervisory experience in a similar fast-paced environment.
• College education in business administration, management, or a combination of relevant education and industry experience.
• Proven, hands-on experience in the sale of electrical products and a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
• Willingness to work entirely on-site in Markham, Ontario, for 5 days a week.
• Ability to occasionally participate in annual physical inventory counts as required by branch operations.
• Strong track record of stable tenure, accountability, and professional growth in previous roles.
• Exceptional business administration skills and business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies.
• Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities with a track record of driving sales strategies and meeting fiscal targets.
• Highly outgoing, competitive, and accountable personality with a distinct winning attitude.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications for daily business administration tasks.
• Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems, specifically AS400 and Microsoft Dynamics, is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where teamwork and adaptability are essential.
