Description

We are looking for a driven, passionate, and results-oriented Operational Excellence Specialist to help elevate the performance of our production site. As a key member of the Operational Excellence team, you will play a central role in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, directly contributing to the rapid growth of our organization. If you enjoy taking on challenges, driving innovation, and making a real impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a change leader, fostering and promoting a culture of excellence in a fast-growing environment.
  • Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
  • Standardize practices by developing clear and effective work instructions.
  • Drive SMED and 5S initiatives to increase productivity and enhance safety.
  • Influence managers to make decisions aligned with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs (such as OEE, top productivity losses, and changeover times) to measure effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Train and engage teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Coach colleagues on Yellow Belt projects, guiding them in the effective application of Lean tools and methodologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment (GMP experience is an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt is an asset).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; Power BI is a plus.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset, autonomy, and a proactive approach to turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, agility, and flexibility demonstrated on a daily basis.
