Responsibilities
· Performs preventative maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using the prescribed techniques.
· Maintains log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance in CMMS.
· Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards.
· Makes use of all prescribed safety equipment and implement safe work practices.
· Participate in continuous improvement activities.
· Adhere to all company policies and practices.
· Completes assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned.
· Capable of working effectively both as a team member and independently.
· Willing to work overtime on weekends and holidays as needed.
· Responsible for knowing and upholding the H&S Policy and working in a safe manner.
· Participates in the ISO/TS16949/ISO14001 certification.
Qualifications
· 433A Industrial Mechanic certificate required
· Valid G Driver’s License
· Working at heights training, manlift/Genie booms
· Knowledge of safety and workplace hazardous materials procedures
· Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
· Mechanical, hydraulic, welding & machining experience.
· Basic industrial electrical skills
· Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills
Compensation
Wage starts at $43.00 - $45.00/hour per the Collective Bargaining Agreement with Annual raises.
