Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a team in the Security industry located in Oakville.

Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Oakville
Industry: Security
Type: 3 month contract to start with potential to extend.

Do you have strong experience with preparing invoices and performing cash applications?
Do you have excellent communication skills and are not afraid to make B2B collections calls?
Are you highly proficient with Microsoft Excel?

Responsibilities
In this Accounts Receivable Clerk role in Oakville, you will hold the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and promptly.
- Record and apply payments received from clients, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment discrepancies, and account statuses in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in preparing periodic financial reports related to accounts receivable, aging reports, and collections.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this Accounts Receivable Clerk role in Oakville, you will need the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of full cycle AR experience.
- Experience with major ERP systems including MS Dynamics, SAP is a great asset.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work fully-onsite.
