Senior Full Stack Engineer - JavaScript, Node.js

Salary: $103,000 - 147,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience in developing enterprise-level, scalable object-oriented web applications with back-end databases.
• Strong proficiency in one or more PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript libraries.
• Comprehensive understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Expertise in databases and SQL, ideally MySQL.
• Familiar with an ORM such as Propel, Doctrine, or Eloquent.
• Knowledge of Vue 3, Angular, or React, with a preference for Vue 3.
• Experience in implementing best practices for cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Docker or containerization (nice to have).
• Experience with the LAMP stack (nice to have).
• Background in insurance or financial services sectors (nice to have).
• Proficiency with various Amazon Web Services solutions (nice to have).
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments; SysAdmin knowledge is a plus (nice to have).
• Experience with GitHub for version and issue management (nice to have).
• Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android using Ionic (nice to have).
• Knowledge of software bundling tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Gulp (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of user interface and user experience design (nice to have).
• Familiarity with LaTeX document preparation (nice to have).
• Experience with test automation tools like PHPUnit and Cypress (nice to have).

• Collaborate on technical challenges and match your interests to our current projects.
• Develop front-end web applications utilizing Vue.js 3.
• Implement back-end API integrations using PHP.
• Enhance billing and payment processing systems.
• Work on premium calculation algorithms.
• Contribute to mobile app development for iOS and Android using Ionic.
• Participate in cross-training across different areas of our codebase.
• Engage with our Symfony-based platform and object-oriented PHP 8.4 code.
• Utilize Propel ORM for interaction with MySQL backend.
• Monitor and manage our AWS-hosted environments.
