Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – QA & Testing Specialist

Role Overview

Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Level 3) with strong expertise in Quality Assurance, Testing, and Test Program Leadership to support the integration of legacy Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) systems with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

This role plays a key part in ensuring quality, data integrity, and successful delivery of a complex, enterprise-wide ERP transformation across Finance, HR, and Procurement functions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Program Leadership

• Lead development of enterprise-level test strategies and testing programs for highly integrated systems
  

• Define quality standards, testing methodologies, and governance frameworks
  

• Establish and manage test management processes, tools, and reporting structures
  

• Oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle including planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
  

Test Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data
  

• Perform system and integration testing activities
  

• Translate business and technical requirements into test scenarios
  

• Validate ERP integrations with legacy systems ensuring data accuracy and business continuity
  

Leadership & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple stakeholders
  

• Collaborate with business SMEs, developers, DBAs, and architects
  

• Act as a bridge between technical and business teams
  

ERP & Integration Support

• Support QA activities within a large-scale ERP implementation
  

• Validate integrations such as:
  

  • Chart of accounts
    

  • Vendor/supplier data
    

  • Employee records
    

  • Project costing systems
    

• Ensure alignment between ERP and legacy system transformations
  

Data & Technical Analysis

• Analyze data models, database schemas, and architecture diagrams
  

• Use SQL to validate data flows and integrations
  

• Ensure accuracy of cross-system data mapping
  

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track testing progress, risks, and defects
  

• Provide status reports, dashboards, and quality metrics
  

• Ensure timely resolution of issues
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work effectively in a remote/distributed team environment
  

• Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

• Engage stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of IT/IM experience
  

• Minimum 4 years as a Test Lead (within last 10 years)
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test planning and execution
  

• Minimum 3 years in ERP transformation projects (public sector preferred)
  

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  

Preferred / Scored Skills

• Experience developing test strategies in complex integrated environments
  

• QA Certification (e.g., ISTQB)
  

• Experience in defining quality frameworks and governance models
  

• Hands-on experience with test management tools and procedures
  

• Proven experience leading UAT and cross-functional teams
  

• Strong experience in test tracking, defect management, and reporting
  

• Knowledge of data models, ERDs, and solution architecture
  

• Experience in ERP implementations (public sector preferred)
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  

• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
