  • Gather and organize data to produce metrics and reporting related to market data consumption; maintain, enhance, and expand data‑driven dashboards to monitor market data spend trends over time.
  • Actively contribute to initiatives that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency across contract renewal activities, user management, invoice validation, and intake workflows, leveraging AI capabilities and Power Apps to drive automation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify duplicative data sources, and look for ways to maximize utilization of the data we already have to ultimately deliver incremental cost efficiencies.
  • Understand how the data ecosystem is structured and how data is integrated and transformed across different platforms.
  • When presented with problems or reporting needs, identify data and analytical process necessary to address them.
  • Ability to generate impactful, actionable insights based on iterative data analysis, translate data-driven output into business language, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the division’s data strategy that enables the most effective use of the data assets.
  • Collaborate with all groups within the Chief Data Office to ensure alignment across data functions and on target delivery of the group’s goals.
  • Bring forward new ideas, challenges to the status quo without a specific business request.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge within area of expertise and keep current with industry trends and business direction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, computer science or a quantitative discipline.
  • Prior experience in the financial industry in Market Data, Operations, or Data Management is preferred.
  • A comprehensive understanding of market data vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, MSCI, Factset, Morningstar, S&P, etc.) and services is a nice to have.
  • Strong ability working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex initiatives and align business needs with data solutions.
  • Must have solid technical skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office suite, with expert Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with databases, query/programming languages, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and data analysis is a significant plus for this position.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong logical and technical problem‑solving skills; able to analyze complex data, identify inconsistencies, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset; able to clarify ambiguous situations and drive efficient outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to balance competing priorities and manage tasks independently.
  • Executes with speed and precision, viewing challenges as opportunities to dive deeper and continuously learn from both successes and setbacks
  • Hold a high degree of personal accountability and ownership in everything you do.
