Forklift Operator - Double reach

Adecco is hiring experienced Double Reach Forklift Operators to join our client's leading logistics team in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a double reach forklift to support warehouse inventory movement and storage. This role focuses on high-level racking, accurate order picking, and the organized handling of materials in a fast-paced distribution environment. The operator ensures products are stored, retrieved, and transported with precision while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and warehouse procedures. You should have strong spatial awareness, excellent equipment-handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining productivity and accuracy.

• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
  
• Start date: Immediate.
  
• Location: Main Intersection - Mississauga and Brampton
  
• Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm & 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm | Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am
  
• Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full time (Must be available to work full time 40 hours+ Overtime Hours)

Forklift Responsibilities:

• Maintain an organized, clean environment and adhere to safe working procedures.
  
• Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned.
  
• Safety- take MHE safety seriously when working racks, dock, etc. Fellow MHE Operators and GLs on floor, be aware and communicate.
  
• Quality- follow the company process, to be careful with product, also longer pallets need machines with longer forks.
  
• Reliability- 5 days a week with OT due to high volumes.
  
• Productivity- using their time well on the floor, always be moving and ignore distractions.
  
• Overall positive work attitude.
  

Forklift Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, logistics environment considered an asset.
  
• Basic computer skills
  
• Forklift positions include Crown Reach and double reach
  
• Associates must be licensed with 1 year experience.
  
• Associate must have previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with general Labour including case picking, palletizing product.
  
• Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Attendance and Performance is criteria.
  
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
