What will your typical day look like?

In this globally focused role, you'll provide strategic communications expertise to build digital communications and marketing deliverables for a variety of Deloitte Cloud Services (DCS) stakeholders across Deloitte member firms and central functions including technology and cybersecurity. You will help translate complex technical and business information into clear, actionable communications across various digital platforms. With a customer-centric mindset, these deliverables inform, engage and drive adoption of our cloud products, platforms and services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support communication plans aligned with strategic goals and objectives that promote cloud product adoption, service awareness and enterprise priorities, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and audience-focused
  • Assist in defining project scopes, developing workplans and executing on strategic and operational initiatives
  • Develop a thorough understanding of DCS cloud products and cloud platform solutions to effectively translate complex technical information into accessible, customer-centric content
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams, member firms and functions to support multiple projects concurrently
  • Create and refine high quality deliverables that communicate technical updates, customer impact(s), required action(s) and supporting guidance for target audiences using various formats, including: Emails; Product release notes; Knowledge based articles, technical guides, and FAQs; Web content; Compelling images/infographics; Articles; Presentations and Videos
  • Facilitating working sessions and presenting curated content to a broad audience
  • Analyze metrics to track and monitor effectiveness of communication solutions (mediums, platforms, content) and provide recommendations
  • Being alert to new trends, tools and methods of communications, determine appropriate messaging, style, and context for communications deliverables, which:
    • Support the overall communications strategy
    • Creatively work within Deloitte templates
    • Adhere to the Deloitte brand standards; and
    • Reflect the needs of our various internal audiences.

We are looking for a technology specialist who combines strategic thinking with strong digital execution and a passion for improving how information is delivered and experienced across our channels. Some of the qualifications pertaining to this role that we are looking for are:

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or equivalent; relevant technology communications, operations, project management and/or closely related experience an asset
  • Three to five years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing or related field
  • Superior writing and editing skills, with a proven track record across a variety of audience groups and channels
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to tell a clear and compelling story through various mediums (e.g. digital media, presentations)
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills; experience managing multiple tasks and timelines independently and as a team
  • Experience using analytics or engagement metrics to evaluate deliverable effectiveness and inform improvements
  • Advanced skills in the latest communications technology, including mastery of Microsoft Office applications, the ability to work with web content management systems and analytics tools, and proficiency in photo/video editing software, including Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Experience with internal communications campaigns with demonstrable results in driving awareness and building engagement in a dispersed workforce
  • Avid juggler: able to shift gears and manage multiple priorities with enthusiasm and energy; proactive worker who can fit successfully into a virtual, dispersed team and has great upward management skills
  • Creative problem-solver; sees the value in active brainstorming and collaborative innovation
  • Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management and relationship building/relationship management skills


Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive when it comes to the salaries of our people. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries, sectors, targets, and levels.
