  • 4+ years’ experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or analytics engineering.

  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of 3NF and analytic modeling.

  • Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT platforms (Informatica, ADF or similar).

  • Practical experience building formatted reports (Power BI/Tableau/SAC/SSRS/Crystal Reports).

  • Experience delivering feeds via SFTP, MFT, or API frameworks.

  • Strong data quality, validation, and reconciliation skills.

  • Good understanding of data warehousing and data model design

  • Familiarity with scheduling/orchestration tools (ADF, Airflow, Control‑M, Autosys).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

  • Familiarity with API gateways, REST APIs, and event‑driven patterns (Kafka/Event Hub).

  • Understanding of metadata management and data governance frameworks.

  • Background in insurance, or financial systems would be an asset.
