Job Description

This entry-level warehouse position involves engaging in various warehouse operations. While prior warehouse experience is preferred, the ideal candidate possesses the right attitude and personality. The job requires technical proficiency with an RF scanner, as it is used daily. Candidates should be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for electronic items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Unload and load electronic shipments.
• Package orders for shipment.
• Use the computer to look up products.
• Engage in cycle counting, stocking, cleaning, and organizing during downtime.
• Communicate and interact with customers.
• Focus on picking, shipping, and receiving activities.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Capability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to maneuver 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Proficiency in using a smartphone and computer, including texting and internet searches.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.

Work Environment

The warehouse is staffed by a team of 10 employees. Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with easy access to transit. The dress code is comfortable and casual, with STWB (steel-toed work boots) required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, BC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
