To support this momentum, the company is seeking a Director of Production to join its management team and play a key role in operational excellence and scalability.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Plant Director, the Director of Production is a key strategic leader responsible for structuring operations, maximizing productivity, and driving overall production efficiency. The role supports the company’s growth by fostering cross-functional collaboration and implementing performance-driven management practices.
This position blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership, with a strong focus on team development, continuous improvement, cost optimization, and quality excellence.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing production team, including four production supervisors;
- Maintain an active presence on the production floor to support engagement, performance, and employee development;
- Plan, monitor, and adjust production schedules to meet operational and performance objectives;
- Adjust plans and priorities to address daily operational challenges;
- Foster a strong occupational health and safety (OHS) culture through proactive leadership, prevention, and best practices.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines align with organizational KPIs and strategic objectives;
- Contribute to the establishment, monitoring, and improvement of plant performance indicators (production, quality, health, and safety);
- Participate in cost control and optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and efficiency;
- Provide effective managerial support through coaching, mentoring, and clear leadership;
- Define and communicate objectives, roles, and responsibilities within the production team;
- Lead by example through clear communication, constructive feedback, recognition of achievements, and trust-based management;
- Participate in performance evaluations, promotion decisions, and disciplinary procedures;
- Propose relevant KPIs, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement initiatives;
- Support coordination between teams and ensure projects are executed successfully.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or operations discipline (such as Industrial or Mechanical Engineering), or comparable hands-on experience;
- Demonstrated leadership experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role;
- Ability to supervise and support teams working in a continuous, 24/7 environment;
- Proven strengths in leading, motivating, and coordinating teams;
- Very strong skills in analysis and problem-solving, as well as in planning and work organization;
- High level of proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft 365.
