Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to handle overtime payroll processing on a part-time basis. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and time and attendance systems.
Responsibilities :
- Overtime Calculation : Accurately calculate overtime pay based on employee timecards and applicable overtime rules.
- Tax Withholding : Ensure accurate withholding of federal, state, and local taxes.
- Payroll Data Entry : Input employee overtime hours and other relevant data into payroll software.
- Report Generation : Generate various payroll reports, including overtime reports and tax reports.
- Compliance : Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Problem-Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies.
